Grant County Commission on Children and Families — Canyon City, Oregon
Prepared and presented information about the draft Grant County Comprehensive Plan for Children and Families at a public hearing.

Portland Cable Access — Portland, Oregon
Organized and facilitated a citywide community forum to receive input about PCA's five-year strategic plan. Incorporated citizen comments and suggestions into the plan.

Oregon Commission for the Blind — Portland, Oregon
Organized an U.S. Congressional hearing for Oregonians to testify about the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Rogers Cable TV—Portland, Oregon
Worked with public officials, community groups and interested citizens to develop programming about community and public policy issues for local origination programming. Started cable TV coverage of the Portland City Council meetings.

Southwestern Oregon Community Action Committee — Coos Bay, Oregon
Planned and coordinated public involvement in four Northwest states to support a proposal before the Bonneville Power Administration. Presented public testimony before the Northwest Power Council and the U.S. House of Representative's Energy Oversight Subcommittee. The BPA allocated $118 million to the project.

HMS Associates: Political Consulting — San Francisco, California
Organized citywide support for legislation initiated by the Nob Hill Neighbors to reduce building heights in their San Francisco neighborhood. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission voted to support the legislation.
