Kathy Oxborrow brings her unique background as a writer, trainer, planner, evaluator, mediator and television producer to her consulting practice.

Oxborrow Communications helps organizations achieve their goals by increasing their communication, planning and problem solving skills. It assists groups in developing new programs, obtaining public support, securing funding, planning for their implementation and evaluating their progress.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
	Assess current environment including stakeholder identification
	Develop key plan components: mission, goals, objectives and action steps
	Link measurable outcomes to the goals, objectives and action steps
	Create a method to monitor plan implementation and achieve accountability

RESEARCH AND REPORT/GRANT WRITING
	Conduct focus groups and business and community leader interviews
	Research and write technical, policy and other management plans and reports
	Research funding sources including national and local foundations, corporations and all levels of government
	Develop strategies to pursue specific funding sources
	Write grant proposals with an emphasis on methods for evaluating results

EVALUATION
	Evaluate grant-funded programs using outcome-based analysis
	Evaluate program services, helping clients set reachable and measurable goals and outcomes

BOARD DEVELOPMENT AND FACILITATION
	Assess board and organizational effectiveness including board roles and responsibilities, recruitment and
	diversified fund development
	Based on assessment, create strategies and an implementation plan for boards to increase their effectiveness
	Facilitate planning retreats, community meetings and other group processes

TRAINING DESIGN AND DELIVERY
	Assess the needs of organizations to ensure the problems or issues can be effectively addressed through training
	Design and deliver customized training programs in board development and operations, creative problem solving and conflict resolution.

PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT
